We are a small business looking to grow quickly. We have been in business since 2009 maintaining commercial and residential properties. We only do weekly lawn service, and landscaping work. We are a flexible company and I want our employees to love their job and to grow their self worth as the company grows. I would like to know your true answers to the following questions, don’t give the typical interview answer just because it sounds good. I’m looking for honesty, not looking to be impressed, there are no right or wrong answers to these questions. Please be as detailed as possible.

What experience do you have in Landscaping?

Do you prefer to string trim or mow on a lawn crew?

What days are you available to work?

Are you willing to work weekends for overtime pay? How much overtime are you looking for per week?

Why are you leaving your current position?

What are you looking for in a new position?

Do you prefer strict management and tight communication, or do you like to be left alone to figure things out?

With some training and the right tools, could you perform oil changes, sharpen and replace mower blades? Do you like mechanic work or is it something you would prefer to avoid?

We pay for employees to get certifications in Horticulture, Chemical applications. They require you to study a book in your free time and to pass a test. once completed we give a raise as well. Is this something you can see yourself doing?

What are you looking to make per hour?

What do you like to do outside of work?

Are you open to P4P (Pay for Performance). Where you receive a percentage of the work completed each day and have the ability to make more based on productivity.

Are you looking for long or short term work?

Do you want to move up in lawn care, or are you interested in another career path?

Do you prefer to work alone or in a team?

How proficient are you with computers, phones, and apps?

Do you have a cell phone? Are you willing to install and app and use it for work? Do you have unlimited data?

Do you like a tidy work area, or do you tend to let things get cluttered before you clean?

Do you have any disabilities that would prevent you from doing landscaping work? Spreading mulch, rock, lifting bricks, etc...

Are you ok with your paycheck being direct deposited to your bank account?

Do you have trouble with summer heat? Ever had a heat stroke?
